Folkestone primary school shut after thieves steal computers and cables
(more crime & policing news)
Castle Hill Community Primary School in Folkestone was shut to all but those sitting Sats exams today after thieves stole a power cable and laptops over the weekend.
The head teacher, Peter Talbot, told the BBC that it was the fifth time since building work started that they had been targeted. "It's extremely frustrating. We have had the lead taken off the roof and the wire cut and stolen four times. However this is the first time we've had to shut the school."
The school will probably be closed tomorrow and is now looking into hiring security guards.
