Charges in Memorial University laptop thefts

Charges are expected against people who bought several laptop computers reported stolen from students at Memorial University in St. John's.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said four people, three men in their 20s and a 17-year-old female, have been charged in connection to the computer thefts, and further chagres are expect to be laid against the people who purchased them.
Police said laptops were stolen on each of the last two Tuesdays from the university library and student centre.
Constabulary officers worked with campus enforcement and patrol officers to track down the stolen the computers.
Three of the people charged have been released, while one of the men is being held for a bail hearing.
