Computers stolen in Sydney ram raid

High-tech computer equipment has been stolen from a shop in Sydney's eastern suburbs by ram-raiders, police say.

Investigators were called to a computer shop on Bronte Road in Bondi Junction just before 4 o'clock yesterday morning after reports a car had been driven through the front glass doors of the shop.

The thieves loaded MP3 players, monitors, laptops and video cameras into the vehicle before fleeing down Spring Street.

Witnesses have told police a silver wagon, possibly a Subaru Liberty, was seen driving from the area.

The car was later recovered at Lilyfield and is undergoing forensic examination. "
