TENNESSEE COMPUTER CONTAINING PATIENTS DATA STOLEN FROM MEDICAL BUSINESS DB News Story:

A Hewlitt-Packard computer was reportedly taken from a Stuart Road business.

Jennie Johnson, a representative of HealthWorks, said the discovery was made Thursday, according to a police report filed by officer Paul Stamps.

The complainant said the computer contained patient information, “both personal and medical.” The central processing unit is valued at $600.

Detective Jeremy Noble is in charge of the investigation.
