Man suspected of peddling BFGoodrich property on eBay
TUSCALOOSA | A man accused of selling nearly $500,000 worth of stolen computer equipment on eBay was arrested Tuesday.
Lt. Steven Anderson, spokesman for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said Gregory Wayne Curtin, 49, was arrested when investigators discovered about 500 pieces of stolen computer equipment belonging to BFGoodrich at Curtin’s residence in the 18000 block of Pemberton drive in Northport.
Anderson said Curtin had been receiving and selling the stolen equipment since October.
Curtin was charged with first and second-degree receiving stolen property. His bail was set at $15,000
