TEXAS COMPUTER THIEVES CAUGHT Cleburne Times-Review, Cleburne, TX - Officers locate stolen pickup, arrest runaway:
Sheriff’s deputies arrested four Johnson County men this week on theft charges. The alleged burglars were discovered when officers researched records after responding to traffic and a runaway violations.
Deputy David Vesely found a reported runaway from Tarrant County driving a stolen 1990 Ford F-150 pickup when responding to a call Monday on Luisa Lane in Alvarado about the runaway, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Vesely learned that the juvenile was a suspect in a burglary Sunday at a residence on County Road 610 near Alvarado, according to the press release.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with theft of between $1,500 and $20,000, burglary of a habitation and being a runaway.
Vesely also arrested two accomplices in the burglary, Scott Layne Wynne, 18, and Aaron Ray Donovan, 19, both of Alvarado, according to the press release. Wynne and Donovan are charged with burglary of a habitation with bail set at $15,000 each. They are accused of taking two computers and three guitars, which were returned to their owners.
Cpl. Brad Bollin arrested another suspected burglar on outstanding warrants and for failure to identify himself as a fugitive Tuesday.
Bollin saw a van parked on the wrong side of the road at about 5:30 a.m. "
