A computer and monitor were stolen from a city office sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday and police are looking for information that will lead to those responsible.
The Eureka Police Department said officers were called to the Park's Department office just before 9 a.m.
”I do understand a computer was stolen and I understand a window was broken,” said Mike Knight, assistant city manager.
Knight said the thief or thieves also tried to pry their way into a manager's office, where another computer was, but were unsuccessful.
Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call the Eureka Police Department at 441-4060.
