OAKLEY — Neighbors led police to four young men suspected of burglarizing a home Thursday afternoon by calling and updating dispatchers with the suspects' locations.
Police said they were informed of the crime at 1:30 p.m. after the men entered a house near the intersection of Waterford Way and Bayview Drive through the front and left out the back with electronics.
The four men began hopping fences, attracting the attention of several other residents.
Police responded and surrounded a house at 4620 Bayview Drive. They found one of the suspects hiding in the backyard and three others in the attic. They arrested 18-year-old Myron Hayden, a 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys.
The four suspects, who are friends and not related, were living at the house, police said.
Inside the house, authorities found two computers, a PlayStation 3, video games and a VCR that had been reported stolen from the victim's house, police said. Officers also found jewelry that had been reported stolen from another nearby house Monday.
