Fairfax, Va. (AP) - A Fairfax County (website - news) government employee is facing embezzlement charges for allegedly stealing computer equipment.

Donald Travers of Centreville has worked for the county's Facilities Management Division for 19 years. Police investigators say that between 1999 and 2003, Travers took five computer processing units and three monitors.

Travers is charged with three counts of embezzlement. He's been released on $7500 bond. The police investigation is continuing.
