Baltimore, MD (WJZ) Baltimore school police are investigating the theft of 30 laptop computers from the Baltimore Freedom Academy.
School officials reported yesterday that thieves broke into the school last week and stole the computers -- which have wireless Internet capabilities.
They were donated this summer to the innovative public high school.
The laptops are valued at about $50,000.
They came from a Baltimore-based nonprofit group called the Centre for Management and Technology.
The agency helps schools and other nonprofits improve their technology and efficiency.
