VERMONT COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM NATURE CONSERVANCYTimes Argus: "The Nature Conservancy ransacked
MONTPELIER - Thieves broke into The Nature Conservancy sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and stole thousands of dollars in equipment, according to police logs.
TNC executive director Robert Klein confirmed that the State Street offices were broken into. Several Dell laptop computers, flat screen monitors, key boards and two digital Cannon Powershot G-5 cameras were stolen, according to police logs.
Klein said he had not been aware of any arrests made in the incident. It is the first time this has happened to the TNC office, he said.
The investigating officer with the Montpelier Police Department could not be reached by press time."
