NEW YORK BANK VP STEALS COMPUTERS FROM PARTNERS TRUST BANKBank VP charged after computers show up on e-BayBINGHAMTON, N.Y. A bank vice president was sent to jail today after Binghamton police say some of the bank's computers turned up for sale on the Internet auction site e-Bay.

Authorities say 24-year-old Joseph Shay was arrested at his office at Partners Trust Bank in downtown Binghamton.

Police say Shay is the vice president of the bank's accounting division.

Investigators say police recovered six of the bank's computers in Shay's S-U-V -- which was parked in the bank lot.

Shay is charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property. Police say the bank V-P was sent to Broome County Jail without bail after his arraignment this morning.

Bank officials are conducting an inventory to determine whether other computers are missing from a storage facility.

The bank's president isn't commenting on the arrest
