Elsburg police have been alerted to the operations of two conmen in the Wadeville area.

The two men, claiming to be working for a company in Wadeville, arrived on the premises of four businesses in the area and asked to check on their fire extinguishers.

After they left the premises, it was established that laptop computers, each valued at about R10 000, had been stolen.
The conmen were seen driving a BMW and a Jetta.
