On March 1, a computer was taken from Taft Middle School, 3829 Guilford Ave. N.W.

Ultra Cote, 1821 E. Market St., was broken into last week. Two computers, two cordless telephones and a microwave were stolen. The burglar opened a window to gain entrance.

Thomas Henderson, 20, of Brown Street was charged with two counts of burglary Feb. 28. Police said Henderson was found inside Akron Bible Church, 783 Brown St. Police said Henderson is also suspected of breaking into the church earlier in the month and stealing computer equipment.
