Two of the four computers stolen from the law office of attorney Bruce Berline were found yesterday at an Internet establishment in western Garapan.

Saipan Tribune learned that it was private criminal investigator Maurice Montgomery who located the computers upon his investigation.

Yesterday afternoon Montgomery, a staff of Berline's law office, and police investigators were questioning some persons at the establishment located in front of Garapan Elementary School.

Police refused to give details, saying investigation is ongoing.

Berline said last night that he has positively identified the two computers as among the four units that were stolen from his office.

Sources said one computer was identified as the same one stolen from Berline's office Wednesday morning, while the second one was among three computers stolen from the office three weeks ago.

The burglar or burglars carted away four full sets of computers and scanners with a total value of over $10,000 in the two incidents, Berline told the Saipan Tribune Wednesday.

He said he discovered the break-in when he reported to work at 7am and noticed that the last remaining computer was missing.

The suspect(s) managed to get inside the office located at the Macaranas Building by pulling the rebar in the window in the storage room in the back portion.

Three weeks ago, the office was also burglarized. Three sets of computers and scanners were stolen that time.
