Computer stolen from area chamber

An employee of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce told police Monday that a window was broken out and a computer stolen from their offices at 31 S. Grove Ave. A piece of concrete was thrown through a front window overnight Sunday, shattering it, according to police reports. Nothing else was taken, according to the report.
