WEST NYACK - Thieves wheeled a locked cabinet containing 15 Dell laptops out of a BOCES auditorium during noon class change on Thursday and loaded them into a waiting vehicle without arousing the suspicion of anybody but a waiting bus driver.
But a bus driver did feel something odd was going on, so he called Clarkstown police about 12:30 p.m. and reported what he had seen.
Police are seeking four people believed to be students driving a brown hatchback vehicle and any information on the laptops, which were used for student work.
