Bibb County investigators are looking for the people who cut a hole in the wall at the Bass Package Store in North Macon.

It happened early on June 17th. The store's surveillance video shows 3 people loading cases of alcohol into a pick-up truck. According to investigators, that vehicle was reported stolen and was recovered off Houston Road on June 17th.
Lucky Punjabi, owner of Bass Package Store, says he has no idea how much the damage will cost or the value of the merchandise, but he expects it to be significant.

Punjabi says the suspects also stole cigarettes, computers, and a television. He also says he plans to install a new alarm system because his current one did not go off.

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone who saw any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity in this area to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-746-9441.
