Police Break Up Computer Chop Shop After String Of Thefts
Police in St. Paul say they've broken up a computer theft ring that was hiding in plain sight.
The investigation started after several computers were reported stolen from cars in St. Paul.
One of those computers was equipped with tracking software, and it lead led officers to a music studio. Inside, police say were several dozen stolen computers and electronics.
Officers say the people running the shop were reselling the stolen equipment.
