Oakdale Police Blotter: Business Victim of Weekend Break-In
In other reports, a dog sent a 5-year-old boy to the hospital and a woman’s billfold was stolen from her cart at Rainbow Foods.
Someone broke into Universal Recycling Technologies and stole two computers over the weekend, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
An employee at the business, located at 3220 Granada Avenue, reported early Monday morning that a window had been broken out and the computers were missing, the report says.
Three alarms went off Monday morning at 3:35, 4:07 and 4:23 a.m., but they weren’t reported to law enforcement, according to the report.
The computers were each valued at $675 and the damage estimate for the window was $1,500 according to the report.
Police recovered a partial fingerprint from the scene of the crime, the report says.
