LISTWOEL — Computers have been stolen from Central Public School for the fourth time this year.
The latest theft happened sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. The thief forced open a sliding window to a classroom to get into the Binning St. building and left through the same window with two laptops. Both were grey HP computers.
Police said the approach to the classroom window is adequately lit and is not obscured from view from the street or the surrounding homes.
It was the fourth break-in to the school since Jan. 8. In each case computers were stolen from classrooms.
Anyone with information is asked to call North Perth OPP at 519-291-1414 or 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
