Two Arrested in Burglary, Laptop Theft

WILDWOOD — Wildwood police responded to a report of a burglary involving a laptop computer Wed., June 6 at approximately 3:07 p.m. at a residential address.
According to police, officers encountered the victim and landlord of the property and determined a male subject had entered the residence and removed the laptop before fleeing the area on foot.
Video surveillance at the property captured the burglary and theft including other relevant evidence.

Shortly thereafter, while on patrol, an officer observed a male matching the description of the actor captured on video. The subject, Gilberto Ramirez Feliciano, of Wildwood, was detained and arrested for his involvement in the burglary. The stolen laptop computer was found to be in his possession.
Further investigation with the assistance of Wildwood Police Detective Division revealed that Ramirez-Feliciano was aided by an accomplice identified as Kandise Benjamin.
Benjamin, age 22, was arrested for her involvement in the burglary.

Ramirez-Feliciano and Benjamin were charged with conspiracy, burglary and theft. Judge Christopher Robertson ordered both subjects held under $25,000 full cash bail. They were transported to the county jail.
