Crimebeat: Thieves steal computer equipment from Clyde Valley High

THIEVES stole IT equipment from Clyde Valley High School during a weekend raid.

The break-in occurred during the early hours of Saturday morning and the thieves gained access to the premises by forcing doors at the PE department.

They searched a number of rooms in the school for anything of value before making off with a laptop and monitor worth about £500. The damage to the doors is estimated at £1200.

Police are now reviewing CCTV footage. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact Wishaw police on 01698 202600.
