UK COMPUTERS STOLEN http://www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk/news/9795276.Laptops_stolen_in_Bewdley_school_burglary/

Laptops stolen in Bewdley school burglary

NEARLY £4,000 worth of laptops have been stolen from a Bewdley school.
The burglary happened at St Anne’s Primary School, Wyre Hill, on Saturday at 2.45pm when thieves broke in and took nine Samsung laptops worth a total of £3,600.
One of two men seen acting suspiciously nearby was confronted by a resident and they left the scene in a small white car. Several computer leads were found scattered in the school grounds.
West Mercia Police confirmed they are investigating whether the incident is linked to the theft of more than £21,000 of computers, software and related equipment from three schools in Hagley during May and June.
Chief inspector Alison Davies said: “A substantial amount of computer equipment has been stolen in these break-ins and that has obviously caused the schools some disruption.
“It is important these people are arrested and brought to justice and I would urge anyone who knows or thinks they know who might be responsible to pick up the phone and tell us.
“Our patrols will be paying special attention to schools and colleges in the light of these burglaries. Local policing teams are also visiting local schools telling them there has been a series of break-ins and giving crime prevention advice.”
