Electronics, appliances stolen from West Rome house
Rome police reported the theft of more than $4,000 in electronics and appliances from a West Rome residence recently purchased by new owners, reports stated.
According to the reports:
The Texas Avenue home was reported to have been broken into between noon and 2 p.m. Thursday. The thieves got away with a black Kenmore or Maytag stove, a white Whirlpool washer and dryer, a white Frigidaire refrigerator, a pot-bellied stove and a desktop computer with monitor. Police reported that along with the missing items, the house was also “completely trashed.”
Reports stated the value of the items totaled as much as $4,450.
