On Nov. 5 at approximately 3:58 p.m., Newtown police responded to the Newtown Square Corporate Campus on Campus Boulevard for a reported theft. Police spoke with a data network consultant for Executive Health Resources who told police he was doing a hardware inventory for his team when he discovered some missing equipment. According to the report, approximately $150,000 computer network equipment was discovered missing. The company discovered several items missing including some equipment that was brand new. According to the report, the company suspects that a recently terminated employee or a relative of that employee may have been responsible for the theft. Upon further investigation, the thefts had occurred over the past three months. A video surveillance showed the ex-employee entering and exiting from the building at odd times and to places where the employee had “no business,” according to the report.
