Dozens of thefts from executive

More than 40 items
have been stolen from the Scottish Executive building over the past two years, including cash, computers - and a kettle.

Details released under the Freedom of Information Act showed a Blackberry electronic device and a mountain bike were also reported missing.

The figures showed were 33 reported thefts in 2005-06 and 11 in 2006-07.

A total of four wallets have been taken, as well as
six lap-top computers and three projectors.

People using the building have also reported credit cards, clothing, briefcases and mobile phones going missing, the figures revealed.
