Laptop computers stolen from Quest middle school

PEORIA — Laptop computers worth about $11,000 were stolen recently from a local school, according to a police report.
An employee of Quest Charter Academy Middle School, 2612 N. Bootz Ave., discovered what appeared to be an open window Dec. 26 in the computer laboratory. When he went closer, he found the window had been removed.
The employee told police between nine and 17 black HP Pro-book laptops were stolen sometime between noon Dec. 24 and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 26.
