Charlotte -- The break-ins took place early Saturday morning along Park Road. The businesses are near the intersection of Woodlawn Road, near the Park Road Shopping Center.

Thousands of dollars in computers, hardware and software were taken from three businesses. The owner of Exit Realty Corporation told Eyewitness News he thinks one person scoped out his business and the others.


Last Saturday, computers and computer equipment were stolen from two businesses on Hedgemore Drive, which is off of Park Road. A third business had visible damage where someone tried to break in. A $17,000 computer was one of the items taken from Carolinas Medical Home Care
