City of Pewaukee - Computers and other equipment valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars were stolen from a business in what might be part of a larger theft ring, police Sgt. Richard Ryman said.
With police, the Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Special Operations Department and the FBI are investigating the burglary, Ryman said.
Police were called to Dedicated Computing Inc., N26-W23880 Commerce Circle, at 12:14 p.m. Sunday after an employee arrived and found a rear service door open and the phone lines cut, Ryman said.
The employee was working from another location and was having trouble connecting his computer to the business mainframe, so the employee went to the company, Ryman said.
Surveillance equipment showed that the burglary occurred at 1:15 a.m., and that there were at least three burglars, Ryman said"
