Following is a press release from New York State Police:

State Police arrested a Lowville man for Grand Larceny folowing a joint investigation with the Indian River School District and Amrak.

David T. Krentz 03/31/67, was arrested for fraduently obtained property from Indian River School totalling approximately $90,000 over the past two years.


An Indian River School District Employee was arrested for stealing computers, computer hardware, GPS systems, ink and toner cartridges, portable radios, and computer monitors. State Police have recovered approximately $60,000 in stolen merchandise.

State Police investigators say Krentz sold some of the equipment on the internet auction sight Ebay. They said they have obtained a subpoena for Ebay records of the transactions.
