FORT WORTH, Texas -- Investigators say someone has broken into a Northeast Tarrant County school for the eighth time in the past six months.
The Academy at West Birdville Elementary in Haltom City said someone broke in and stole their computer equipment.Officials told NBC 5 that most of the burglaries occurred at one of the school's portable buildings on school property. Police said the thief gained entry through a previously broken window or defective door latch. One one occasion a door was forced open.
Police said that during each burglary computer equipment was the target.
So far, the police have no suspects."
