Monticello Village Police have arrested five persons following an investigation into the theft of computer equipment from the Monticello Manor Adult Housing complex on High Street.Arrested and charged with petit larceny were Timothy Ware, 61, Jose Valez, 49, Leon Myers, 50, and Michael Worthy, 49, all of the Monticello Manor. The four were charged with stealing a computer from the room of another person, and then selling it and splitting the proceeds.
An investigation led to the Heritage Inn on Broadway where officers located and recovered the stolen computer. Keith Daniels, 50,of Heritage Inn, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property."
