IOWA COMPUTERS STOLEN http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/dmr/index.php/2012/06/19/computers-and-candy-stolen-from-closed-movie-theater/
Burglars reportedly vandalized the inside of a closed Des Moines movie theater before stealing several items – including $200 worth of candy.
According to Des Moines police, an assistant manager at the Nova 10, 4365 Merle Hay Road, which has been closed for the past month, stopped by to check on the theater Monday.
She realized someone had pried open two entrances, entered and sprayed several fire extinguishers all over the movie theater, police reports show.
The unknown person also punched a hole in the wall next to the office door, reached in to unlock the room and ransacked the office, police said.
The suspect took two computers, $200 worth of shirts and $200 worth of candy, police reports show. The safe was untouched.
Authorities said the break-in likely happened between June 12 and 18 but have made no arrests.
