Middleton Tavern's computer equipment stolen

Annapolis police were called to Middleton Tavern on Friday after computer equipment worth more than $6,300 was discovered missing.

Three computers, a server, two touchscreen monitors and two printers brought from another restaurant were intended to be used at the 2 Market Space location.

The equipment was in a storeroom off Randall Street that only employees had access to with a manager-held key. Employees are often given the key to grab supplies from the storage area, city police said.

The devices were discovered missing last Monday and police were called four days later.
