Cleveland Police are investigating the theft of computer equipment which was being used by students in classrooms at Blythe-Bower Elementary School.

According to officer April Ratcliff’s report, someone entered a classroom at the school last week and took two Apple iPads and two Acer notebook computers. A suspect has been established through the school’s video security system and detectives feel the case can be resolved, according to Lt. Robert Harbison of the Cleveland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.

Detective Matt Jenkins said the video shows a person entering the room and then leaving.

Jenkins said the suspect has been contacted about the alleged theft.

Investigation is continuing.

The computers are valued at approximately $1,500.
