CALIFORNIA SCHOOL ROBBED OF COMPUTERSRegister-Pajaronian: Content Burglars somehow managed to slip onto the second floor of the Pajaro Valley Unified School District headquarters Wednesday night and made off with two computers and one employee's gold bracelet.

The bandits left little more than a sampling of fingerprints for police to go on.

"Right now, we've got no idea as to who is responsible for this or how anyone managed to get into the building," said Dr. Nancy Bilicich, PVUSD assistant superintendent and public information officer. "We do know that it must have happened sometime between 7:15 p.m. and 7:15 a.m."

There was no sign of forced entry at The Towers, the building at 294 Green Valley Road that houses various PVUSD administrative offices and programs, Watsonville Police Sgt. Craig Tanaka said. The building is largely empty by 7:30 p.m. each evening, except for the custodial staff, which is responsible for cleaning and locking up the facilities.
