ILLINOIS COMPUTERS STOLEN News - Lake Zurich CourierA video surveillance tape led police to a man accused of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of items from businesses and hiding them in a Wauconda warehouse.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department arrested Edward J. Barnstable, 35, of Ingleside, after they searched a warehouse at 1001 Old Rand Road Suite 119, Feb. 25. Inside police found equipment they believe was taken from businesses during late night hours. The Sheriff's Department would not disclose the names of the businesses.

The cache held computer, office and communications equipment as well as furniture, appliances, power tools, motor scooters, oriental rugs and designer clothing.
