According to Julson, a Play Station 2, Nintendo Game Cube and a laptop were taken.
Police are searching for three men following an armed robbery in a Bailey Hall dorm room Wednesday afternoon, marking the second dorm robbery in a week.
The men entered the second-floor room of computer science freshman Matt Julson and chemical engineering freshman James Lipke, shut and locked the door and stole several items. They then fled the scene.
Witnesses told The State News a handgun might have been involved, but police would not confirm the reports. The door to the room was ajar, and the two residents were inside at the time.
Julson said a Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2 and laptop computer were stolen.
A group of three men also was involved in a robbery April 21 in Mary Mayo Hall.
In that incident, police said the men walked into a room and 'forcibly' took a wallet. Police have not been able to release any more information regarding the incident.
Telecommunication, information studies and media freshman John Diaz said he was sitting near a Bailey Hall entrance when he saw the three men running across the courtyard toward Harrison Avenue on Wednesday.
After being interviewed by police, Diaz returned to his room on the same floor as the victims but kept his door closed - something he said he might be doing more often after the incident.
'I'm going to think twice about it,' he said. 'I'll probably keep it closed for a few days."
