Lansing police are asking for help finding a man they say stole computers and purses from downtown businesses.
Johnny Lee Billups Jr., 50, is charged with stealing from the State Employees Credit Union and the Michigan Restaurant Association, Detective Kim Kranich said. Kranich estimates about 10 computers have been stolen in the past three months. Police identified Billups from surveillance cameras. Anyone with information is asked to call 483-4600"
