An employee in the Jones Building reported the theft of a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer May 18. The computer was locked in a room on the 4th floor of the Jones Building at 5:30 p.m. May 17. When the employee arrived at 8 a.m. May 18, the door was found unlocked and the computer was missing. The computer is valued at $1100."

PC pilfered, but not the same one
A student in Edens 1C Dorm reported the theft of his Dell laptop computer May 17. The laptop was last seen May 9 in his unsecured dorm room. Initially, the student thought his roommate had the computer. After speaking to the roommate May 14, he discovered that the computer had been stolen. The computer and its bag are valued at $1350.

Laptop jacked
An employee reported the theft of a Duke laptop computer from the Bell Building May 10. The computer was secured in her office. The employee could not recall the last time the computer was seen. The Toshiba laptop computer is valued at $1200.00.
