ALASKA STOLEN COMPUTERS RECOVERED News-Miner - Past News: "Stolen goods found
One of the recent burglary/ theft arrests resulted in Cantwell School recovering stolen laptop computers, video presentation materials, digital and video cameras, rifles used by the rifle team and other items.
When it became apparent those items were missing earlier this spring, troopers put out the word to the community.
'We wanted to try to get the property back with the understanding that somebody borrowed it or used it, which is not unlikely or atypical,' said DeCoeur.
The items were not borrowed, however. Eventually, troopers pinpointed and charged the folks they believe responsible for taking them--two Cantwell residents and one Fairbanks resident.
