MICHIGAN COMPUTER THIEF CAUGHT Lansing State Journal:Local news briefs: "EAST LANSING - An East Lansing man who police say admitted to at least 20 thefts from office buildings and is suspected in numerous other break-ins was arrested Tuesday, police said.
Police arrested the man about 12:30 p.m. at the Michigan State University Student Union. The man, whose name was withheld pending charges, is not affiliated with the university, MSU police said.
The stolen property to date is valued at more than $80,000. Items range from computers and keys to office equipment, police said.
The man is in custody at another agency on unrelated charges. It was not clear Tuesday what those charges were. The case remains under investigation while police seek warrants for burglary and stolen property."
