PULLMAN -- A $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the theft of computer equipment from Cleveland Hall on the Washington State University campus in Pullman.

Monday night, someone entered room 234 in Cleveland Hall and removed a Toshiba laptop computer, an Infocus projection unit and an HP 4100 network printer.

The combined value of the stolen items is estimated to be $6,500.

The reward is offered by the WSU College of Education.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Officer Jeff Olmstead with the WSU Police Department at (509) 335-4310. Anonymous information also is welcome.
