PRINCETON -- Thieves smashed a window at the Nationwide Insurance office Saturday and stole about $2,550 worth of property, Princeton Police Chief Eddie Lewis said Monday.
Computers, a fax machine, stamps and cash were stolen from Susan Stanley's office at 107 E. Railroad St. Damage was estimated at $550.
Nearby residents told police that they heard something at about 1:30 a.m. but did not call police. Ms. Stanley also has an office in Goldsboro. "
