DARWIN, AUSTRALIA-- May 11, 2005-- Stealth Signal, Inc. a computer security service provider announced today that its XTool® Computer Tracker assisted the Casuarina Police Department in Darwin, Australia in the recovery of a stolen laptop on Friday,

The recovered laptop belongs to a major educational organization in Australia that purchased more than 2000 licenses of the XTool Computer Tracker.
The stolen computer had been installed with XTool Computer Tracker a software based transmitter that once installed forces the computer to send a signal via Internet or telephone connection. The software provided Constables Steve Isles & Brendon McKAY of the Casuarina ‘Divisional Intelligence Office’, with all the necessary information to locate and recover the stolen laptop.
The computer was stolen from a private residence during school hours on March 31, 2005. The educational organization reported the theft to the Police and Stealth Signal, Inc. in order to track the computer. The computer began to send signals to the Stealth Signal Monitoring Center on May 4, 2005.
