CLEVELAND -- A laptop computer with personal information of students and applicants was stolen from the Cleveland State University admissions office.
According to a news release from the school, CSU is in the process of issuing a letter to all individuals whose information may have been on the computer.
A special e-mail account has been established for anyone who has questions regarding this matter: ed.mills@csuohio.edu or you can call school enrollment officials at (888) 278-6446.
School employees think that the computer was not targeted for its personal data, but rather the theft was a crime of opportunity.
Anyone with information about the laptop should call CSU police at (216) 687-2020.
