Thieves stole a front-end loader from one local business and used it to break into another and steal computer equipment, Peel police report.

At 6 p.m. Sunday, July 4, the thieves went to the Inco yard on Orenda Road and started the front-end loader. They drove the machine east along the railroad tracks to the Tiremaster on Orenda and used the front scoop to lift the company's rear loading door. Several offices were ransacked inside Tiremaster and computer equipment was stolen, according to police.
