Investigators in Douglas County are asking for the public's help in solving a series of computer thefts.

A dozen laptop computers have been stolen sometime over the last six weeks from the Sierra Crest Academy in Gardnerville.

School officials say the twelve Dell laptops are metallic gray in color and are model Latitude D-505.

The school is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and prosecution. If you have information regarding the thefts, contact Douglas County Secret Witness at 782-7643."
