Margaret River police have laid charges after a break-in at the Margaret River Community Resource Centre on July 22 and the Margaret River Library on August 29.
With help from Warwick detectives, the police have recovered one computer and a server.

They are still looking for about $35,000 worth of computer equipment stolen in the break-ins, and a projector stolen from Margaret River Senior High School.

A 19-year-old man from Yangebup was charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, an 18-year-old Margaret River man with one count of aggravated burglary, and an 18-year-old man from Parmelia with one count of aggravated burglary.

A 16-year-old Margaret River juvenile was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and a 27-year-old Margaret River woman was charged with receiving.

Sergeant Scott Etherton said he was very pleased police had been able to progress the matter.

The library had to close temporarily due to the break-ins and is now operating on a limited basis, with issues only.

Library patrons need to take their library cards.

An alarm system is planned to be installed at the library
